Spring 2018 Teacher Learning Communities - Register Now, Learn Forever!

Maggie Bruski

SEED is excited to announce that registration is now open for the spring 2018 Teacher Learning Communities, or “TLCs”, which will run January through May. TLCs are continuing education graduate courses designed support teachers as they make powerful adjustments to their practice, leading to enhanced student learning. As a TLC participant, teachers can:

  • Improve their teaching skills and evaluation rating, while connecting with peers across the region;

  • Explore best practices with personalized support from a coach;

  • Dive deep into a semester-long learning opportunity and meet with other teachers across the region for a full day in January and a half-day in May, along with one virtual meeting;

  • Engage in 1-2 hours per week of online and in-your-classroom learning and reflection;

  • Earn 3 graduate credits through Colorado Mesa University for a small fee - or you can earn 45 recertification contact hours for your license renewal for free.

This spring SEED has three brand new course offerings, and registration will be open until winter break. Read on for further details including the key ideas being highlighted by each TLC along with the virtual and in-person meeting dates. To register, click on the title of the TLC you'd like to join to be directed to the NW BOCES Go Sign Me Up page.  As always, please email seedics@nwboces.org or click “contact us” below for more information about this exciting opportunity!
