Bringing motivation and inspiration to the classroom and our students is not easy, especially now. In this session, Dr Tina H Boogren will help participants apply the same research-based framework that we used for our own self-care to discover ways we can support our students during this time as well as in the years to come.

Objectives and outcomes:

  • Understand the foundational research and theory on motivation and inspiration
  • Discover ways to create a culture that supports social-emotional learning
  • Learn specific strategies tied to the levels of Maslow's hierarchy of needs that can be implemented immediately
